Smoked Salmon Ball

These balls were a favorite of many of our regulars — especially during the holiday season. This recipe is easily doubled, so make a few ahead of time. Can also be pressed into an air-tight plastic container and stored for up to two-weeks in the fridge.

Laszlo’s Smoked Salmon Ball Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1/8 teaspoon tarragon
1/2 teaspoon horseradish
1 – teaspoon salt
1 – tablespoon lemon juice
1 – 8 ounce package cream cheese, (Philadelphia Cream Cheese) softened
1 – cup sour cream, (Daisy)
2 - cups fresh Laszlo’s Gourmet Smoked Peppered Salmon flaked
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

In a large bowl combine (use your mixer if you have a heavy duty one) all ingredients except salmon and nuts, mix well. Finely flake smoked salmon. Blend together with remaining ingredients, distribute evenly.

Shape into balls (or store in air-tight container). Roll in nuts, if desired.

Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate till ready to use.

Serve with crackers.
